worn out drip pans
I have tried to replace these drip pans for the last few years with no luck locally. The GE dealer said it was not possible to replace the pans. Nobody reworks stainless steel so on a lark I typed in drip pans and found this site. The actual replacement was very simple, remove and recycle old drip and replace with shiny new ones. They bring the stove back to nearly new. I have added this site to my favorites list plus told my friends about it. Thank you

Needed to replace Drip pans
I removed the burner grates, removed the old drip pans, then dropped in the new drip pans. The replacement procedure took less than 2 minutes. It actually took more time to unpack the new parts than to install them. The local parts store said the parts would have to be ordered from the factory and didn't know how long it would take. Order from PartSelect took 3 days and were $20 cheaper.

oven door hinge roller was broken
It was extremely simple! I removed the oven door and the storage drawer, unhooked the spring, and unscrewed the hinges. Removed the broken hinges and screwed in the new hinges, hooked the springs back on, slid the oven door back on and replaced the storage drawer! Presto! The repair is complete

My chrome drip pans tarnisher badly (dark with blue/Green color). I'm thinking its from the heat of the burners. I've tried a number of cleaning techniques but nothing seems to remove it. Do you have an suggestions? Also, are the stainless steel pans more durable than the chrome? Thankyou!

Hello Pat, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, once they're tarnished so much they would have to be replaced. The only bowls that will work with that model unit are the chrome ones part number WB32X102. I hope this helps!

My clean stove drip pan is discolored on the bottom, it looks blackened and rough and nothing will take it off and make the chrome shiny again. How can i make chrome, chrome again? It was new and it didn't take long to blacken and look dirty but it's not dirty. I tried to rub aluminum foil on it but nothing happened except scratch up my drip pan.
Hi Maya, sadly at a certain point there is no way to make it look new again, try soaking in distilled vinegar, and rub baking soda on the drip pan. Let sit for 15 mins, then rinse with hotwater. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
