Terminal leads were too wide on the thermostat.
I had to cut the leads on the thermostat to enable the wire terminal clips to fit on the leads. Not hard at all when the right tools are available. Care must be used because the leads are subject to being damaged. “ Hold leads with narrow needle nose pliers while cutting!

My vent keeps coming on by itself at room temperature and i am unable to turn it off. Does this part fix that?
For model number wmh1162xvs2
Hello Jennifer, Thank you for the question. The hood thermistor is the part that would be responsible for telling the main control to turn the hood fan on and it should measure 10KO at 77°F. We hope this helps!
The microwave has power, clock, display, fan, light works fine. However when I want to heat something, it goes as if was going to start but immediately stops. I think the last time it was used the microwave overheated. Would this be the high limit thermostat?
For model number Mwh32517aw2
Hello David, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the high limit thermostat, part number PS2361102, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
