Electronic Control Board

Hello,

My repair went well, wifey was not really sure about me to fixing my own refrigerator at first. however, it was a simple matter for me since i am the owner of my own Refrigeration and Air Conditioning company.

I diagnose, isolated and replaced the problem.

which was really the compressor relay however since the relay was built into the board and i could not relay is built into the board i had to replace the entire board.

Now please note that this symptom is also common to other part so one must first be certain that it is the control board

Getting to the board was the hardest part; once the cover was removed and the housing for the control board removed it was simply unplugging 6 connectors and plugging in the new board.

It was really easy, it took me about 20 minutes to complete the repair. One thing worth noting though, malfunctions of this particular part can cause the inverter box , this is the electronic box that controls the compressor, to function erratically and finally burned out.

I am not a Do-It-Yourselfer, I am a surgeon, but the technician told me the part number I needed and it took him 20 minutes to install after I got it. It was a smooth repair experience!
