This is a replacement bucket glide for your refrigerator. The ice bucket rests on the bucket glide, which allows it to slide in and out when you want to access the ice bucket. If the glide is broken, you will notice that your ice bucket is hanging to one side, or that it will not slide back into place and remain there. To replace the bucket glide, remove the ice bucket and then unscrew the bucket glide from the refrigerator wall. You will find a bucket glide on either side of the ice bucket, but this part is for the left side only. Be sure to check which bucket glide you need before you replace it. This part is sold individually.

Broken left bracket-would not hold left side of ice maker tub in place
Removed 3 screws that held the Glide on and replaced the glide. The manufacturer did not install one of the screws when they built the refrigerator. This caused the bracket to fail.

Plastic piece that holds up motor that pushes out ice cubes broke off from bucket glide
Took out ice tray and then slid motor out of right side bracket and sat on shelf. Removed the 3 screws holding up left side bucket glide first. Make sure you have correct size socket for the 3 screws on bucket glide. Works best with a screwdriver type socket tool. I then removed broken plastic piece from motor (screw in motor is different size than the ones for left side bucket glide). I put in new left side bucket glide (rear back screw a little bit of a challenge but it can be done) and then slid motor back into right side bracket and fastened motor to new plastic piece that sticks out from left side bucket glide. Put back in ice tray and good to go!

I have a left-hand freezer, and this appears to be the part -- or a part -- that is broker. I am not sure if this is the only part that is broken. Does this also support the motor for the ice maker on the left side? Thanks.

My question went unanswered. I know my glide is broken in the back of it. I can see the plastic cracked. What i do not know is whether this holds up the motor for the ice dispenser on the left side, because whatever does that is broken as well. I also want to confirm that this is the right part for my model.

Hello Jonathan, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, this the correct bucket glide for your model, but it does not hold the auger motor up. The auger motor is held into place by the motor cover assembly, held between two metal brackets. You would have to remove the ice bucket disconnect the top wire harness and remove the cover assembly to access the auger motor. Hope this helps!
