1. Take out the refrigerator door. 2. Take out 20 nuts. 3. Take out old gascket. 4. Put in the new gascket. 5. Put back the nuts. 6. PUt back the door.

We have this refrigerator in the garage (unheated) and we get down around zero or below zero temps this time of year. We have found that we cannot use the refrigerator during this time as it freezes most items inside. Any ideas on how to fix this?

According to our research, you may need to check the following parts to fix the issue: defrost thermostat, part number PS2167866, defrost timer kit, part number PS2167006, and temperature control thermostat assembly, part number PS2167870. If these are not causing the problem, then you may need to check the defrost heater, part number PS11738470. We hope this sorts out your problem!
