Our keys, 1-6 are no longer working. 7 and up are. We've attempted to replace the control panel with no success.The main control board was not included in the control panel attempt. Is there a chance it's a fuse?

Hi Megan, Thank you for the question. If the panel did not fix the issue then the problem would be the Microwave Smart Board. If it was a fuse then you would have no power at all for the control board. Hope this helps!

Error says keypad shorted, assistance may be needed. What replacement part do I need?

Hi Ray, Thank you for the question. If the Keypad has shorted then it will need to be replaced. It is sold as part of the front control panel, Part Number: PS2322064. Good luck with the repair!

Microwave numbers, clock buttons doesn't do anything when pressed. Mostly all others respond when pressed. Will this part correct this. Also with same model number but different microwave nothing respond on panel, tried replacing board in past but still not working,doesn't respond when pressed. Fuse was good too.

Hi Marc, Thank you for the question. In most cases if the buttons do not respond but the display does light out as if it has power, you need to replace the Control Panel,PartSelect Number PS2322068. If there is no power on the display at all then the Smart board will need to be replaced.Hope this helps!

Ty for responding. However like in my last email last week. A couple of the buttons respond but mostly all others don't. No display on those buttons that don't work. I changed smart board as I believe I read it and still nothing. Still the same.Can it be the control panel?

How do i know if i need a new smart board or a keypad. The microwave would automatically turn on and run for 1:00 then an error message came that service was needed . Currently am not getting anything from the keypad

Hello Michael, thank you for contacting us. If the microwave is turning on by itself it could have a bad door switch, these switches prevent the microwave from working when the door is open, if they become faulty then can cause this issue. There would be 2 of them in the microwave. Also if the keypad is not responding that could be the line fuse. Because this part contains an electrical charge, remember to disconnect power to the microwave unit before you begin this repair. NOTE: Before you start this repair, ensure that the microwave is unplugged, and the capacitor is discharged. A capacitor stores large amounts of electricity even after your microwave is unplugged.
