FAN,AXIAL Specifications
The condenser fan blade fits onto the air conditioner motor shaft. The fan blade helps circulate air over the condenser to cool the refrigerant before it enters in to the evaporator. This part is beige in color, made of plastic and measures approximately14 1/2” in diameter. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the air conditioner before starting the repair.

Broken fan axial blade
Unscrewed the unit from the exterior case pulled out the unit unscrewed the 4 screw that hold the fan shroud carefully unscrewed the coil pulled back unclipped the axial fan clip gentlyhit with rubber mallet replacement of new fan replaced clip

window a/x unit fan broke

Can you tell me the shaft size on this fan, please?
Is it 5/16" or 3/8"?
For model number LW1221HRSM
Hello Stacy, thank you for reaching out. The size of the original motor is 3/8" approximately from the condenser side, and 3/8" approximately from the evaporator side as well. We hope this information is useful!
