The surface eyes are acting up. They will turn on then go out or you turn one on and a different eye will come on also. Or one will work on high but not on the lower settings. Stove is four years old

Hello.Our 5 yo stove has an issue with the right 2 burners. they turn on but then shut off at various times. once when turning on back burner, the front burner lit. the left side works fine.
do we need to replace the whole circuit board or just right side or what would be the solution.

Getting a f-9 oven fails to heat, i reset the breaker and waited 5 minutes tried again same issue

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your question. If the control panel display lights up with error code F9, it means the oven has failed to exceed 150ºF after 5 minutes of preheating. According to the LG website, If you are seeing this code, press the Clear/Off button to terminate the beeping alarm, if it is going off. Try to reset the oven by either unplugging it for 3-5 minutes or by switching the circuit breaker to the off position. If the error code returns, check the oven sensor. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multi-meter. When testing the sensor with a multi-meter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If this checks out fine, you will need to check the electronic control board, both oven elements and the wiring between these parts to see which once is causing the issue. We hope this helps. Checked the thermostat, heating elements, convection fan, and all connections between pcb and oven. Make a high pitched sound when oven is turned on, and get f-9 fault code. Thermostat ohms @1061 same as the new one i picked up, convection motor at 36.6 within spec and the heating elements ohm out well also. Is it time to look into the pcb ? Is there a way to test it ?

Hi Bruce, thank you for your question. Yes, by the sounds of it you have tested and checked all of the parts that would generally cause this issue. If they are all in working order then the only part left would be your PCB. Unfortunately only a trained technician would be able to test such a part. Hi. The electric cook top front two big burners cuts out and different temperature and then don’t cut in for long. Some times they don’t even turn on at all. It started with one burner having this issue but now both front burners acting same. I tried changing heating element, switch board and relay board. But its still same.

Hi Kulbir, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the display power control board, part number PS7792510. It controls and displays the time, temperature and other settings of the range. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Multiple issues: (1) None of the cooktops get hot. (2) Oven does not get hot. (3) Child lock does not lock the oven door. Since all 3 issues came at the same time I suspect the main PCB needs replacement. Your opinion?

Thank you for your question. If the oven is not working, you will need to check the electronic control board. You will need to check it for signs of damage and burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. Check the wiring between the parts also to make sure that they are not damaged and that attached correctly to the parts. Hello Larry, thank you for your question. No, PCB Assembly (Part# 11773404 ) Is just the Control Board. The Control Panel is sold separately which is Part# PS9492931.
