My dryer will turn on but will not start. When the start button is pressed the dryer beeps three times. When the knob is turned the time doesn't change for each individual mode. It did show an E91 code. I'm just not sure which part will fix these problems, or if I will need to replace multiple parts. Thanks!

When reassembling this dryer I inadvertently installed the 4 pin connector going from the board assembly (1) in diagram to the (3) knob assembly. When error realized I corrected. However I get a E91 code briefly and the knob does not function. I did smell some slight burning. Logic would indicate that I damaged the knob assembly but not the (1) board.Would you agree?

Hello Bill, thank you for your question! The error code E91 indicates configuration/communication problems with the electronic parts. We would recommend checking all the connections and wiring of the Control Board, part number PS11766152, using a multimeter, and then resetting the appliance. To reset the dryer, remove the plug from the socket, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it in again. We hope this sorts out your problem!
