Exceptionally easy repair
Wasn’t sure if I needed 2 identical gaskets for my left and right door so I called in to ask and the Agent was super helpful. She was able to confirm that I needed 2 and also shared a tip to warm up the gasket prior to installing to ensure it was in proper form and that it would fit properly. Overall was a super easy install and in hindsight, we should have done it a lot earlier!

Door gasket
Installed easy and fit perfect. Was a bit wrinkled in the shipping box so warmed it up with a hair dryer and let it sit over night before installation

Very easy installation!
The part was a little bit twisted, but was easily put in place. Look good and much more sturdy than the original part. Doing the job very well.

A little wrinkle :)
the part came very fast and easy to install. very hard to get the ripples out of the gasket....soaked in warm water as well as using a hair dryer. still wrinkled. seams to work ok as temp has not changed in the fridge, which is what I was told when I phoned in to inquire on same.

Great experience and fast deliver
Had water building up on inside of French doors. Old gaskets were worn out and these new ones work great so far. Water is all gone! Also...VERY easy website to navigate and parts shipped fast. Would recommend for sure.

Door gasket wasnt sealing anymore and had some minor cracks
First, I removed the old door gasket by pulling it out of the channel it was mounted in, noting the orientation of the gasket. Then, it was a simple matter of lining the new gasket up with the channel and pressing it into the groove. Very easy repair, and the door seals great!

Door seals split and condensation forming
Removed the old gasket and made sure we put the new one in the same way. A wooden mixing spoon was the best tool for pushing the gasket into the track without hurting it. We used the back of the spoon and it went right in with no problem.

Needed to replace gaskets in refrigerator door as they were cracking
Beware - the website does not indicate that doors are different sizes on this model refrigerator. Not paying attention I ordered 2 of the same size gasket which only fit the right side door - had to send one back and reorder left side from Whirpool directly.
The actual installation is very easy. It may take a day or so the gasket to feel like its actually making a good seal.

Right side door gasket split open
First, selecting the right part is more difficult than the repair. My Kenmore is an outdated model actually manufactured by Whirlpool.
Once I got the part I relaxed the gasket with a hair dryer - an important step suggested by PS. I then took old of the old gasket and removed it. The new one fits in the channel. Just press and make it is completely installed and flush.

Gasket has 2 tabs on the side that opens. Both had torn. Also one vertical slit halfway up the gasket
Followed your instructions: gasket came coiled in the box and was slightly curled up. Both left & right side of gasket were linked. Followed your instructions to properly restore the shape. Pulling the old gasket off and installing the new one took just a few minutes

door no longer stayed shut
repair was extremely easy.
Whether it was magnets weakened or seal getting stiff with age not allowing it to seal well, these gaskets improved it. Still not as strong a magnetic pull as it could be though. I will also say that the seals didn't pull tight at first. It seems the seals needed to flatten a bit before the magnets did their job.

moisture build up on gaskets and doors
After watching a couple of YouTube videos I had an idea of what to expect. It is really easy. Simply pull out the old, clean up the track and press in the new. I used a heat gun to eliminate the wrinkles in the material. A hair dryer would work as well.

rubber seal for right hand doors separated and allowed magnetic strip to fall out
Received gasket. Checked color and size. Because this unit is 33 inches wide one door is 3 inches narrower than the other. Removed shelves from door to provide more room to work. Took 15 seconds to pull out old seal and 1 minute to install the new one. Checked to make sure center sealing flap were on the center side of door. Started in upper corners, worked my way around the perimeter pressing in in with my fingers.
Took longer to R&R and wash shelves than to replace door seal.

I need to replace the right door seal for my kitchen aid refrigerator. This looks like part 8b (gray). But the seal on my door has a magnetic strip inside that seals to the left door. I don’t see this in the description. Which part is this? The seal around the door split open and the magnetic strip came out. Thanks!

Is this compatible with my Jenn-Air fridge? I don't see the little "tabs" that are at the top and bottom corners on the side opposite the hinge. I don't know what the original Jenn-Air part number is (it's not in my manual) so i can't compare it in the "compatible" list.
