removed dryerplug from power source, removed dryer & vent from wall. Cleaned dryer vent. removed dryer heater and discovered the ceramic insulater brooken and heater wiring shorted to heater housing.Replaced heater. replaced cutoff-tml and high limit thermostat. checked machine control electronics assembly. The heater relay was arced and chared. Replaced the control electronic assembly.(I discovered the wiring diagram at this point). I tried to find a wiring diagram on line but, was not successful. The wire from the cutoff-tml to the high limit thermostat was wired wrong on my first attempt to repair without the wiring diagram cost me to buy a control electronics assembly.Other than that the repair was fun.

When drying times are set sometimes it works, sometimes the time advances by itself up to 99 . Becoming more frequent.
For model number WGD6600VW1
Hi Bonnie,
Thank you for your question. If the timer is advancing on its own, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the thermal fuse, the coils, the radiant flame sensor, the igniter and the electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Rosie, Thank you for writing. We have a few suggestions for you to try. Try unplugging the unit for a few minutes and plug back in.
