The machine moves through the fill-wash-rinse-spin cycles but it is out of sync with the selector. Is the timer motor bad?
For model number MVWC6ESWW1
Hello Bill,
Thanks for your question. Yes, this is most likely due to the timer itself, part number PS11750935. You may wish to replace it.
I hope this helps.
The machine runs and works in all the cycles, just does not utilize the timer to change cycles. Would tis be the timer or the control board?
For model number MVWC6ESWWO
Hello Frank, Thank you for contacting us. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you.

The cycles seem confused on my washer. It starts agitating as soon as a cycle starts, and at the end the clothes are not spun completely. My local parts company seems to think it is the "Agitation Delay Circuit Board". Does this sound correct, or could that be part of the problem, and there is a problem with the timer/cycle selector itself instead/as well?

Hello Eljay, thank you for contacting us. The most probable cause is the electronic control board, part number PS11748272. You can test the timer, part number PS11750935, to ensure the faulty part. Use a digital multimeter to test it for continuity. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of assistance!
Washer will not start when the lid is down, type of wash selected, and timer knob pulled out. Not the power cord, breaker, or fuse issue, also checked the continuity of the lid switch which was fine. Could it be the timer and if so how would you check if that is bad? Any input would be greatly appreciated so the laundry doesn't pile up too bad.
Thanks for your time, Adam

Hello Adam, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the timer with a multimeter as well. Set your multi-meter to Rx1 and touch the probes to the terminals that control the motor (refer to your wiring diagram). You are testing for continuity and should receive a reading of zero or nearly zero. It can also be an issue with the water inlet valve or the sensor switch (which senses the water level and load) if the washer is not filling once you have selected the cycle. The sensor switch should have a low ohm reading and the water inlet valve should read between 500-1500 ohms. Good luck with your repair.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your question. If your washer is not draining, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the lid switch, the pump retainer, the drive motor, the gearcase and the motor start capacitor. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
Washer runs through final rinse and spin. Then, instead of stopping, the washer begins to fill again, forcing me to just stop the machine. How do I to fix this?
