spray arm would not stay on during wash
Removed old spray arm and spray arm nut with a twist of my fingers. Screwed in new spray nut with my hand, and snapped in the new spray arm. Works PERFECTLY! I did it all by myself! Saved me a costly plumber bill! I am soooo proud of myself!

the spray arm had continually been disconnecting from the nut
after reading the remarks from other DIY users of the site, I realized that not only did I need to replace the spray arm, but should replace the spray arm nut as well. The repair took less than a minute to unscrew the old one and add the new, and it has worked like a charm ever since. Thanks guys, and goooood luck.

the upper spray arm clip broke off
the spray arm is held in by a plastic bracket that snaps on or off over two points. I was able to remove the bracket without using any tools, just my fingertips. It is really simple!

door seal leaking, upper sprayer coming off
First I got a heavey towel out and laid it down on the floor. Then put the protable dishwasher on its back side to expose the casters. I removed the two screws on the bottom kick plate. I cut the tops off the old casters, the plastic portion. Pulled the old casters out with pliers, then pushed the old plastic housings out using the back side of the side cutters. Just pushed the new front casters right into place. on the back ones,Just pulled the old casters right out with the pliers. they came right out. Pushed the new ones back into place.Put the kick plate back in place. Took the old upper arm nut off. Compared the parts. put the new arm in the new nut. Screwed the new nut in place. Got it back up right, hooked it up and ran it. I am disabled with nerve damage to my arms and hands. The average person could have done this in about 10 mins. It is just like it is brand new now. My spray arm kept falling off
I ordered the new spray arm and nut, snapped them together, screwed the nut onto the screw and started a load of dishes. That's how simple it was. Glad I found your website. Thanks.

Upper spray arm falling off during wash cycle
Unscrewed old nut, inserted new nut into new spray arm and screwed the assembly back in. Took less than one minute. Requested the 3-5 day delivery and received parts on second day. After examining the old and new parts it appeared the nut was the only part I would have needed, but since parts were less than $5 each I did not want to take a chance. Total cost was $16, the shipping being the most expensive item but much cheaper than paying for a service call.

Upper Spray Arm fell off whenever water started flowing through it.
The upper dish rack was in the way for my old body and short arms to reach the nut, so I had to pry the plastic bumpers off with a screw driver and remove the rack. From there you could almost do it with your eyes closed. Unscrew the old spray nut, screw in the new one and pop the spray arm on. Slide the dish rack wheels into the rail tracks push it closed, and insert the plastic bumpers. The only tricky part was the bumpers. You have to pry the forward-most piece of plastic away from the piece behind it. That pulls the holding edge out of the slot in the rail, and the bumper comes right out. Putting it back just takes a push from your thumb, and make sure the holding edge is back in the slot. Before I put the new nut on, I compared it to the removed one - it was obvious that the latching ring on the old one had been worn by the rotation of the Spray Arm, so the water pressure was all that it took to push it off.

The upper spray arm kept falling off.
I wasn't sure what part was faulty, so I ordered the spray arm assembly and some additional parts. They were all surprisingly inexpensive, so I wasn't concerned if I had more than I needed.

The photos, the accessibility of the catalog, the pricing, the fast shipping, and everything about the Part Select experience was outstanding. Part Select actually made me feel competent.

The spray arm would not stay in the nut.
I unscrewed the old plastic nut, Screwed the new nut in place, and snapped the spray arm into the nut. The new nut has a different design (better) and I do not anticipate having to replace it again.
