Replacing a Washing Machine Part
It arrived quickly to the remote community where we live. The explanation videos on the company website were very helpful. Where we live a new washer after delivery would have cost around $1200.00 so replacing the part was very cost effective.

Rinse water would not shut off/would not fill..
There was a 1 1/2 inch sheet rock screw standing upright through the bottom of the basin. I took that out, and it hasn’t been a problem since. I might send the part back.

If the washing machine in question has a slow drip into the tub, would this be the issue?
For model number WTW5200SQ0
Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for your question. If there is a slow leak into the tub when the washer is not in use, the issue is likely the water inlet valve. A component in the water inlet valve has failed and you will need to replace it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Why would the black cylinder melt on the sides? Do i need to worry about wiring or anything else? It ran water when i first hooked it up, then stopped and wouldn't run water again. Smelled something hot, took the washer apart and found small hole burnt in side of the top black cylinder. I am concerned it will do it again if i replace it.

MY washer will not fill up, could it be more than just the water inlet valve that needs to be replaced?
For model number WTW5100VQ0
Hello Bert, thank you for your question. If the washer won't fill at all, the inlet valves might have failed. If the washer fills partially, the problem is likely with the water-level switch. Part number PS3408163. We hope this helps.

The hot water quit working on my washing machine. The temperature switch will only give cold water.
For model number ITW4300SQ
Hi Philip, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the issue seems to be with the water inlet valve, part number PS11746765. A faulty solenoid inside the inlet valve might be causing this problem. We would suggest checking the water inlet valve for continuity using a multimeter. We hope this helps!
