The ejector arm came off and we cannot figure out how to install it back.
For model number kssc48qms02
Hi Kelly,
Thank you for your question. You must first remove the ice bin and the shelf that is directly above the ice maker to give yourself room to maneuver inside of your freezer.
Then, with a flat head screw driver, release the locking clip on your wire harness so that you can take your ice maker out of the freezer.
You must remove the white ice maker cap. Then using your flat head screw driver, push out your electrical connection. After that you can remove your dispenser arm just by pulling it out of the slots it is in.
Unscrew the control module. There are three screws that keep that on. After that, remove the black plastic housing as well. Gently remove your black plastic housing.
Once you have gotten your ice maker apart, you can simply slide your injector back into position. After that, you just repeat these steps backwards to get your ice maker back into place.
I hope this helps!
