Gas Valve

-I turned off the gas, unscrewed the gas line from valve, unscrewed 2 screws which held the valve in place, and installed the new one by reversing the procedure---I opted for the basic shipping when I placed my order on Mon. evening-I had new part on Wed. in the am!!!!

Removed lower front panel. Disconnect two electrical plugs from gas valve. Disconnect gas line from valve. Remove two attachment screws for valve. Remove valve from dryer. Remove inlet fitting from old gas valve and install in replacement valve. Install valve and secure with attachment screws. Put pipe dope on threaded gas valve connection and tighten securely. Re-connect two electrical plugs to valve. Test for proper operation. Install front cover. Now have a dryer that works!

Unplug dryer and turn gas cock knob 90 degrees to shut off gas to dryer. Take off the panel below the the dryer door, by taking out the 2 screws on the bottem of the panel. Locate the gas valve on left side of the dryer. Unplug the 2 electrical connections on the gas valve. Take out the 2 screws on the gas valve bracket. Use 2 wrenches and disconnect gas valve from gas line. Pull out gas valve and attach new gas valve to bracket and reinstall bracket and new gas valve. Replace panel and reinstall screws. All done.

remove the old one and just put the new one in to it and it is woking good
