wouldn't agitate or rinse
First I removed the cap covering the timer clip then removed the 5 screws that held the cover on the back. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the harness and the ground wire. then reversed the above procedures. Work great!

The machine would fill with water at the start and then nothing would happen, heard a slight ticking sound in the timer.
Unplug the machine,
Remove screws from the top panel,
Remove cover of dial of timer,
Remove the split washer holding the dial,
Pulled the dial off,
Remove the wire plug from the back of timer,
Installed new timer.
Put it all back together.

I suspect timer problem ????? pulling knob, water will not start, nothing. but when pulling rinse, rest works. rinse cycle starts, fills, everything , is this this the correct part ??

Hello Edda, Thank you for writing. You can also try checking your water inlet valve, the lid switches, or the water pressure switch as well. Hope this helps!
