Timer - 60Hz

I removed the panel off of the back of the control panel by removing 3 screws along the bottom and two on the top. I then removed the knob on the front of the timer. I was then able to remove the timer by taking out two screws that were holding the timer in place from the front of the control panel. I then disconnected the bad timer and connected the new one and put it all back together. Easy fix!!

behind the timer dial there are five 1/4 socket nuts, remove them. Then turn off your water supply and push in the dial and turn it counter clock wise and it will un screw. Next pull the dial indicator off and ther are two other screws (size unknown) unscrew them and the timer comes out from the rear. simply unplug the connector . Plug in the new timer and reassembly. My son and I had it removed and installed in under ten minutes. easy. and works great.

Removed the outside face and dial, and then removed the control panel by removing two screws.
Unplugged the timer and removed the two screws holding the timer in place.
Reversed the process to install the new timer.

Could manipulate symptom by putting pressure on old timer knob(to help diagnose as a timer fault). Removed knobs from front of panel, removed 5 screws to remove faceplate of panel. Removed 2 bolts and 1 wiring harness connector for access to replace the timer control. Reassemble and function test. All normal functions. Took about 20 minutes total.

I knew right away it was the timer. I removed 3-1/4" bolts from the very top/back side of the washer, and 4 screws from the bottom of the control panel, 2 screws in the front side, and 2 screws in the back side, at each end of the control panel.make sure the timer knob is pushed inward, turn it counter clock wise to unscrew it off, then pull the back plate knob back towards you, it will pull straight off. then pull the other 2 knobs straight back towards your self, and they will pull off. then you can remove the control panel cover ! Remove the 2 bolts that hold the timer in, then pull the timer out through the top of the washer. Then unplug the wire harness from the timer. And it's out ! This did not take long to do ! Just reverse these steps to put your back together !
