The parts were a perfect fit. A YouTube video for a similar GE microwave handle was instructive. Given the nature of the failure of the handle supports, it was apparent that the supports screws were either oversize or overtorqued at the factory so an obvious design or production issue.

I have a model jvm1630wfc01 GE microwave (above stove).The handle bracket on the top has broken, but still attached.Do you have one in stock to replace or do i need top and bottom and are they difficult to replace as i have never had this problem before. Thks for any assistance you can provide me with as i cannot figure out even how to remove the handle. Thks again.

Based on our research the part that you are looking for is Part Number WG02L04224 (the bottom and top handle support are the same part). Currently it is showing that we have them in stock in our warehouse and would take approximately 3 - 5 business days to ship to you at point of order. Based on our research you may have to take out the piece right behind the microwave door to gain access to the screws holding the handle support on. My handle supports broke on my microwave. So i purchased new ones. However, i dont have the screws to fix the handle supports to the door. According to that graph, they are os03 and os01. Can these screws and plugs be bought? Is there an alternative i can use?

Hello Max, thank you for your question. Those item numbers are only sold as a part of the door assembly now. They are not available by themselves and there are no alternatives. I hope this helps.
