Dishwasher won’t fill with water. What is likely cause and what repair parts do i need?

Hi Ervin, thank you for your question. Usually when you are having an issue like this, it is the water inlet valve that you have to check. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. Good luck with your repair.

Dishwasher is showing error code E24, but there does not appear to be a problem with draining water. I poured water into the dishwasher and it pumped water out without a problem. Problem seems to be water inlet valve. Would you confirm the part number is correct ( PS11700720 ).

Hello Lee, thank you for the query. The E24 error code means that the dishwasher is not draining properly due to the drain filter being blocked. Since you have said that there is no problem with the drainage. Check the inlet hose and ensure it's not kinked or damaged. Check the siphon connection and ensure it's sealed. The water inlet valve, part number PS11700720, you have mentioned, is compatible with your model. We hope this helps!

How do you disconnect the wiring harness from the water inlet valve?

Hi Tony, thank you for getting in touch. To disconnect the wire harness from the water inlet valve, you may press down on the tab in connector with a flat blade screwdriver and pull it out. We hope this information is useful!
