WRT311FZDM04 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Instructions

Definitely need to watch a youtube video on how to do it. No instructions come with the gasket so you need some instructions. Once I managed to get it started it went fairly quickly. Difficult to get it started but once it is started it is not too difficult

I took the old fan out and replaced it with the new one,right easy task.

The first thing to know on this model is that the handles for the refrigerator and the freezer are identical parts. It is the plastic piece at the end of the handle that breaks. The handle should then slide off easily. You may then remove the two screws at the bottom. Slide the new handle into place, and tighten the screws at the bottom first. This will ensure the handle is properly located. Then tighten the allen bolt on the sidewhile holding the handle agains the face of the freezer.

I bought a second shelf for storage. it snapped right into place.

Remove back side cardboard access cover. About 6 dcrews need to be removed. Remove 9/16” bolt and lower compressor tray frame down to slide out wheel axel. Place wheel in slot and replace axel. Lift compressor tray and replace 9/16” bolt. Replace cardboard cover. Remove 2x4.

Remove the food from the shelf above the drawer.
Slide the old drawer out and replace it with the new one.
Very easy fix.

Removed shelf, removed shelf frame and installed new one.

We took out the shelf, the new track snapped in place easily.

1)Removed the drawer
2) used a 8mm nut driver to unscrew the 2 mounting bolt.
3) clean /disinfect the bottom layer of the refrigerator
4) mount the track and installed the 2 #8 hex head mounting screw
5) slide back the drawer

Removed old gasket. Wiped everything down. Popped in new gasket.
It was a little tedious, but it went in easy enough. Some reviews said the new gasket was kinked and bent. Mine I am happy to say was smooth. The problem with the replacement part is that it didn't fit cleanly and doesn't slide well with the existing drawer.
We were disappointed.

rippped the old one off and carfully put the new one on with a flat head screwdriver at an angle as not to rip the new one
