The old button fell out because the "tabs" on the end of the posts that come out from the button had broken off. These "Tabs/posts" hold it in place - you'll see how when you look at it. All that was necessary was to put the springs from the old one onto the new one. Make sure to put the thing in right-side up; there are two "tabs/posts" ... Read more on the top side, and one on the bottom. Gently slide it into position as nearly straight as you can, squeezing the "posts" until they clear the front of the opening. Continue to slide in EVENLY until you feel the part "click" into place. That's it! I recommend cleaning out the area fully before installation, with a a god household cleaner, and also putting a thin coat of some sort of lubricant on the part before you put it in. (You won't be able to do that after it's installed.)

I looked up the part number, with shipping it came to $16, and in one minute of installation time, I just gently pushed the button into the front using the original springs that pushed the button back out, and it just clicked into place, the microwave back in action.

Inserted spring on middle post on button back side. Pushed button/spring into hole on front of microwave until clips engaged and snaped into place.

Lifted up the glass plate, lifted out the plastic base that rotates and placed the new one inside. The piece that connects is shaped like a semi-circle, so I rotated it until is dropped into place. Then I put back the glass plate and it was finished.

Replaced Microwave Button with new button and hooks. Repaire took one min. by just pushing the new button on the Microwave and it hooked on and did not pop out. Good for another 4 years maybe!

Eight screws off the bottom exposed the cover plate. Easily found the motor location the looked up the item number and verified data and ordered the part. Replaced the motor, tightened the screws and flipped it upright. Plugged it in and the lights came on. Set a time pushed start and smiled! The eagle had landed!!!!

Ordered the switches from Partselect, arrive in two days. Had trouble removing the plastic connectors from the old switch terminals, one of the plastic protectors broke, but was able to reuse it. Read more e careful not to break the plastic tabs holding the switches in place. Replaced all (3) switches at the same time. All in all it was pretty easy.

I removed the outer cover of the microwave and removed the bottom palte to access the small motor. i unplugged the old motor from teh wiring connector, removed (1) screw and motor came out. I reversed the proceedure with the new motor and it was finished.It was a piece of cake.

Overall repair quite simple. Removed screws from the sides and rear of the microwave, then removed cover. Next, removed only the screws to separate the bottom cover. Installation is the reverse of removal. Note: on the back of my appliance were 4 torx screws with a tamperproof pin in the center. I used the rotary tool to grind out the pins so I could use a regular torx bit instead of ordering specialty bits.

Pried cover off bottom-center of microwave. It seems to be either glued or lightly tack welded. Removed 2 small Phillips screws to remove motor. Disconnected electric feed by hand.
