Burners would not ignite flame...Had to start with match.
Removed the old burners with a Plumbing Pipe Wrench by turning 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Disconnected (2) wires and replaced with new Sealed Burners. The simmer burner wires were slightly diffrent from the original but they do fit by opening the connector with screwdriver and then clamping once wire inserted.

Stove wouldn't stay lit and would fire unless the gas was turned on the range top .
Removed the drawer and the flash plate underneath .
Unplugged the igniter then opened the & removed the over door . Lifted the bottom plate to expose the burner and igniter . Undo the 2 screws holding the igniter in place . Replace the igniter and reach underneath and plug the wire connecters together . Place all the proper things in their place .. and it was finished ...
The biggest snag I ran into was the one of the 2 screws stripped out when when taken things apart .. but I have taps and found a few new screws and replaced them ......
Quite easy fix .. don't a pay repair man to do it .... !!

Oven took way too long to preheat . Emitted strong gas odor.
I first matched the symptom (very long preheat time/gas odor) with the most likely problem (faulty oven gas igniter). I then wrote the model # and Googled gas oven repair and got to your website. I then located the faulty part within about 5 clicks and proceeded to order the exact part within another 5 or so clicks. I received my order from PartSelest in 2 days and had the oven working with the new igniter in about 10 minutes....Then it dawned on me---"Hey, I should be a Maytag Repair Man."
Thanks for the prompt delivery and the correct installation instructions. I will absolutely use your service again. (Not too soon, I hope !)

Bad Door Gasket.
First I took the new gasket out of the plastic bag to make sure it was the right size. Then I proceded to take the old gasket out by pulling it with a long noise pliers. Then I took the new gasket and went around the door putting the pins in the holes that, the old gasket was in. That,s about it.

Fred lifted the top and broke all the tubing to the burners
I order the replacement parts from parts select and they arrived in 3 days. To remove the old parts it only required an open end wrench and a screw driver. The gas lines were removed from the valves and the entire tubing system was unscrewed from the range top. As the tubing was broken this was easy. As for the installation of the new parts that was a bit more difficult. Freddy helped me hold the range top up about 4" in the front and the tubing had to be carefully bent to mate with the valve fitting. With all the fittings tightened the oven was tested for leaks and all was ok. The burners were all working and the home that was without a stove for 8 weeks is now ccoking with gas. As anote I did place two metal tabs on the oven with pop rivets so Freddy won't break the new lines.

the door handle broke off during some home renovation, damaging the trim piece.
I removed the oven door by lifting it off the hinges, disassembled it by removing the nine screws around the edge of the door, and then removed the handle mounting trim piece. I received the replacement piece in three days from the order date, and simply reversed the process. I attached the handle to the new trim piece and reassembled the oven door.

Racks were dark and dirty
The first set of racks did not fit. I called the Service rep, gave him the model number and exchanged the racks for the new ones. The new ones fit perfectly and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend PartSelect.com to anyone who wants to deal with a company with excellent service, parts and representatives who know their stuff.

oven wont heat up
it was actually pretty easy, it took about 20 minutes to fix, i had to unscrew the bottom portion of the oven to get to the Igniter on the bottom, then unscrew the Igniter, take off the old pice, and snap the new one in, put it all back together, and that was about it, i had dinner done by the time my husband got home from work. thanks

Oven stopped heating
I removed all the screws that would turn with the screw driver, and the two that were near the ignitor that were much harder for to me loosen with the pliers. I then took the back off and unplugged the old ignitor and plugged in the new one. Put everything back together, and wala!, I had a working oven again. Thank you very much Part select. My husband was very proud of me, for accomplishing it on my own, He is an over the road truck driver, and I would of had to wait until he came home on the 24th of December.
