Thanks to videos on You-Tube which showed step by step removal and replacement. It was a simple process. only thing missing on the video was information on the green ground wire.

Unable to complete repair, had to send parts back
Part should have been PS11732074, but got PS11732704- wrong part
This was a substitute part and was 2" too long

Waiting for refund on this part. It cost me $14.50 to return it by UPS!!!

I disconnected the refrigerator power, removed the 2 screws holding the mullion door on the left side of the refrigerator French-door (it’s the flap that allows the door to close). Removed the old one and replaced with new just remember do your do diligence watch YouTube videos makes repair a lot easier

Removed ice bin
Unscrew the 3 screws.
Lift ice maker for the bottom to remove it but do not pull it until the power is unplug from the part.
Install the new part the same way you removed the old part.
Turn the switch and waiting 48 hours before the ice bin start getting ice

I actually didn't use what I got. Because there was all kinds of tubing coiled up in the door. We just fed the exsess all the way through the Fridge,and Bingo! It was done.

The past I ordered was broken upon delivery. I asked for a replacement and was refunded the charge. Tried to contact you but "due to covid" you aren't taking calls. Net result: I ordered the part from another source, got it, installed easily. Won't use you again.

i changed the filter and was able to get water to the white coil at the bottom of the dispenser (left door) but could never get water to the icemalker.i also replaced the pump at the bottom of the door as well as the green ebr699172 dispenser electrical board.still can not get water to the icemaker.any help will be greatly appreciated.< ... I just followed the instruction on the part , and everything was very easy.

Six screws to remove the old one (I looked up the process on Youtube) and six screws had it back in tip top shape.
Three wire connections, two were plug in and one was a ground wire.
BTW: It was a 3 wire, not a 6 wire. I had ordered that by mistake and PartSelect made the return and replacement very easy.

Cover the putty knife with tape so you do not scratch the side wall where the switch is located. Slide the knife under the edge of the switch and push in a bit towards the switch and slightly twist to pop the switch out of its hole. Took pics of original install, removed old valve, water tubes & plugs. Installed new valve, reconnected electronic plugs, water tubes, turned water back on and all has been well since. Thank you for your timely delivery!

My son just pried out the old switch with a screw driver snapped out the old one and snapped in the new one. Pretty sure even I could have done this. Very quick and easy. Thanks. :-)

Unplugged the fridge. Used a screwdriver to loosen the switch. Easy to disconnect from fridge and just plugged the new switch in. Popped right back into the side of the fridge and worked perfectly.
