Check the motor and discovered roughness when you turned the shaft. I assume there was a bearing problem. I ordered a new motor from part select and upon the replacement washer is working great! Thanks part select, my part arrived in a timely manner and you guys saved me approx. $500. Thanx again. Richard Sansom

Replaced filter assembly, mesh, check valve and impeller. Root cause was tears in almost all the fine mesh filters on the filter assy. 30 minutes. caution: impeller screw is left hand thread. This "top of the line" unit, although quiet and very good at cleaning, has had leaks, needed a new motor and this last repair. I've been able to do all the repairs and avoid expensive service calls as all the problems started to happen shortly after the warranty was up.

parts were not exact match with original, even though ordered from schematic. had to bend the replacement part slightly so it would fit into holder pieces. this took about 10 minutes as I was trying to be careful not to break/cut the coating (which would then lead to rust again). Once the piece was bent, just snapped the rack into place.

Opened dishwasher door to gain access to retaining screws. Once all screws were removed, I removed front cover. Removed parts from old cover that I would need for new cover. ie: door handle, name plate, etc. Installed these parts on new cover and reset cover on dishwasher. Installed retaining screws and job was complete. Easy, about 30 minutes.
