These were a simple snap on item. It took longer to carry the parts from the porch that to install. Recently purchased house. Rollers were missing due to overload?? Removed the remaining roller pieces. Cleaned and straightened the axle shafts, spray lubed the tray and snapped the new pieces in place.

  • RICHARD from MURRIETA, CA
  • Very Difficult

Was not able to see where the Stopper, Rollers ( Part # PS3523062) could be attached to the back of the bottom tray, to fix the problem. So the parts were useless.

The dishwasher door would fall open when opening if it wasn't lowered slowly.

  • Allen from N LITTLE ROCK, AR
  • A Bit Difficult

  • Nutdriver, Screw drivers, Wrench (Adjustable)
I disconnected the power cord and the drain hose, with a nut driver, under the sink. I removed the bottom plate that covers the water connection under the dishwasher. With the water turned off I used an adjustable wrench to disconnect the water line. I open the door and disconnected the brackets under the counter top, with a phillips scre wdriver, that hold the dishwasher in place. I pulled the dish washer out of its enclosure far enough to fully access the spring loaded mechanism to replace the "connector assembly". Then I put it all back where it belonged.. Go slowly and have patience.

Door is to heavy to hold
  • Ricardo from Gilbert, AZ
  • Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Screw drivers
The connector assembly connects to a spring to hold the door from falling down. You need to disconnect the power cord, the water line and the drain hose before you move the dishwasher out the kitchen counter. There are several screws that hols the dishwasher in place top, side and bottom. Removed all screws then pull the dishwasher out ve ry slow. Take the side panel by un-screwing all the screws around the panel in my case where five screws (two in the front so you have to open the door to get to them). You need to keep the door down to connect the assembly to the door bracket and the go through the pulley then to the spring, very easy. Put the side panel back and push the dishwasher in place use the same screws and reconnect the hose the water line and the power and you are done.

door connector broke, so door just flopped open
  • Stephen from Glenwood Springs, CO
  • Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Screw drivers
pulled the dishwasher out, removed the side panel. It was very easy to replace the connector once the dishwasher was out and the side panel was removed. There are about five screws to remove the side panel. I replaced the unbroken connector on the other side since I had the dishwasher out.

racks were rusted
  • dennis4417 from Albuquerque, NM
  • Really Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
parts were not exact match with original, even though ordered from schematic. had to bend the replacement part slightly so it would fit into holder pieces. this took about 10 minutes as I was trying to be careful not to break/cut the coating (which would then lead to rust again). Once the piece was bent, just snapped the rack into plac e.

Check the motor and discovered roughness when you turned the shaft. I assume there was a bearing problem. I ordered a new motor from part select and upon the replacement washer is working great! Thanks part select, my part arrived in a timely manner and you guys saved me approx. $500. Thanx again. Richard Sansom

Leak in drain line
  • Sean from Canton, CT
  • Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Pliers, Screw drivers
Uninstall dishwasher screws. Lay dishwasher on its side. Remove bottom plate. Remove old drain line. install new line. Test for leak. The trick was figuring out that I could only access the line through the bottom of the dishwasher.

Lg code indicated a faulty motor
  • richard from Johnsville, CA
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 1- 2 hours
  • Pliers, Screw drivers, Wrench set
First, PartSelect is great!; fast,& accurate. 1. Inside the dishwasher: remove trays. Remove (A050) lower water sprayer from bottom by pulling up. Remove (F191) top sprayer assembly by pulling away from clip holders. Remove (M110) by removing the holding screws. This part cover the whole sump and has kind-of an open screen circling t he unit. Now you will see the white plastic impeller (M120) which is attached the the motor with one Phillips head screw. WARNING. The Phillips head screw (holding the impeller in place) is a REVERSE THREADED SCREW. Turn the screw CLOCKWISE to remove it. Then remove the impeller from the motor shaft. Underneath and outside the washer: Remove the bottom plate. Finally remove the motor by unscrewing the four holding screws and electrical wiring.
