After changing the drum support bearing, and the front felt ring, the noise continued. It turned out to be the tensioner pully. The harmonic vibration travels throughout the dryer box like an instrument so you can't tell where the sound is comming from. Before you do anything, spray a little wd40 between the bushing and the shaft on the belt tenioner pully. If the squeel goes away, you have found your smoking gun.

Took out the damaged lint filter and replaced with new one.

I cut off the four that didn't line up - I suppose since this was a gasket that fit several makes, I should expect this type of problem.

We have a washer/dryer stack type. For a week or so, my wife mentioned that washer is louder than normally is, shortly, the washer stopped spinning and the clothes were finishing soaking wet.

I opened the front panel sheet and saw the broken belt, ordered the belt online. The belt arrived in 2 days, and the actual belt-replacement took 10 minutes. The washer functional like new.

Poped up top, removed front pannel (2 phillip head screws) observed failed belt. Replaced belt. Tensioner can be held back by hand so it was easy. Works great. Part Select Rocks! I put in the model number and bam, there was my needed part, 3 days later it was in my hands. This was after me wasting time driving around town trying to find it at home depot type stores to no avail. I'll never do that again. This website makes repairing appliances a snap. Ordered part from partselect.com. Part was back ordered; however they were very proactive in communicating status updates! When it arrived it was simply a matter of removing door using a philips screwdriver, installing the new hinge and presto - job complete! Kudos to partselect.com ??

I ordered the part from partselect using the live chat line. I got the part confirmed and it arrived without incident and on time. It’s an easy fix. Take the old knob off by a slight pull. Put the new knob on being attentive to the D shaft. Push it on with slight pressure. Easy.

I found a you tube video that walked me thru the steps. Only problem encountered was 2 screws which were different and a little difficult, but became obvious as the control panel wouldn't loosen as video suggested. Otherwise the repair was fairly easy, and VERY SATISFYING.

Removed front and back panels as well as the dryer front, placed belt on drum and drive motor. I found that taking the door off the dryer front made the reassembly much easer.

I watched the video you had. Did what the man said, checked out the parts, and orded the new ones. Then installed , as per video. It was Fun.

I attempted to figure it out first but to no avail. Found an article on e-how and followed the steps to access the drum. Found your company on internet and called the 800 number to order the part. Delivery was quick (2 days) and it was the exact part. Thank you.
