I pulled off the filter tab, unscrewed the filter and installed the new one. It was that easy!

ice maker stopped working
Ordered and installed new icemaker. Still didn't work. Called repairman who replaced cut-off sensor (expensive service call) Worked briefly, then stopped. Service man said new icemaker was defective. Called PartsSelect and they promptly sent another one (great service). Made ice for 12 hours and then stopped. Did nothing for 36 hours and it suddenly started working again and works fine now. Beats me.

Needed to replace water/ice filter
The hardest part was getting the model number. (My vision is not that good.) After I got the number, the rest was cake! In less than a week, I had it ordered,shipped, delivered and installed!

Removed grille cap,twisted out the old cartidge. Flushed the water system and twisted in the new,

Filter Needed Replacing
I/4 turn and pull out old filter. Insert new filter and turn 1/4. Shipping time from partselect was unbelievable, one (1) day. Highly recommend this company !!! This site is a great help to the do-it-your-selfer. Thank you.

The filter was due for replacement.
Simply turned the original filter counter clockwise, pulled it out and discarded it. Then I inserted the new filter and turned it clockwise. Repair done.

Filter needed changing
All of 16 seconds. It took longer to get it out of the box than to change it. Untwist the old one, pull it out and replace the new one.

Water Filter won't turn to right to lock
put filter in &turn to right to lock in place. I can't get the fliter to go in & lock for some reason. I have changed the filter before realy easy not this time.
