JW2000A Jenn-Air Washer - Instructions

Removed lower rear panel by removing 8 screws. Then I removed the two hoses that are attached to the pump by removing the hose clamps with a pair of plyers. Read more e at the bottom of the washer and attached the belt onto the pulley. Then reversed the installation process. The washer had to be tipped forward slightly for this process and blocked (approx. 8 in.) to allow access to pulley. Very easy install, no help needed. Washer must be empty and preferable dry when task is done or water will be everywhere.

first removed panel from rear of washer removed hoses and drained water in them, removed the 3 screws and removed the belt then removed the pump. Replaced with new one and put back screws,hoses and belt. walaaa.... it works like new!!!!

My husband took out the 2 screws in the front panel and loosen the 3 nuts from the pump.

The parts was easily removed and the entire job tooked 30 mins.

Removed access panel to expose pump, removed drive belt, and old pump, repeated the avove steps in reverse order, tested for leaks and proper operation.

I pulled washer out and removed filler hoses from water supply and drain hose and tilted it forward placing three short 2X4's under the washer to keep it tilted forward. Removed
back plate with nutdriver. Removed belt from pulley and disconnected the two hoses from pump with pliers. Removed three large screws from pump base with nut ... Read more driver and removed old pump. Installed the new pump in reverse order. Quick and fairly easy took about 30 minutes.

Removed water lines and drain, removed back panel, removed drain lines from pump. Unscrewed 3 screws to remove pump. attached drain lines to new pump, screwed in new pump, reattached everything. Reinstalled belt (very easy, not like an altenator). done

changed drive belt and saved me from buying new washer,,working like bland new again ...many thanks

Reverse the process to install new pump
Unplug the machine
Place pad on floor to protect the machine from scratches
Lay front of machine on floor
Remove back cover (10 screws)
Disconnect 2 hoses
Remove 4 screws which secure pump to bottom frame
Remove belt
Remove pump

Took off belt and ran motor. No noise. Then took off drain pump and spun it by hand and felt rubbing on one spot. I figured the bearings were going bad, so I ordered the parts and replaced them.

My husband unhooked the water lines, unplugged the washer and remove the waste water hose, then we tipped it over and easy as pie the belt came off and the new one went right back on. I did not see any tears or breaks in the old belt, but it was stretched out a bit, and the washer is once again quiet. This also gave me an opportunity to ... Read more clean under the washer, which we all know we don't do unless we have to. Cheap, quick, and easy fix for someone to do there self.

Turn water off at the inlet valve of hose you are replacing. Disconnect inlet hose the washer and let water drain out in a bucket. Then remove old hose. Replace new hose to inlet valve then washer . Use pliers to tighten both ends. Turn on water to check leaks at both ends of hose.

replaced pulley and belt. Looked for a pulley for 1 week at retail stores. Found pulley on parts select

Turned water off,tilted unit forward,removed lower rear cover,removed belt,laid towels around ,removed inlet hose and exit hose off pump,removed 3 screws holding pump,removed pump and installed new one,reversed order of disassemble, has been running great ever since.

I followed the instructions that other posters suggested. The springs were the toughest part to remove and reinstall. Having my wife push the tub enabled me to use vice grips to get them back on.
