Turntable not turning/making noise
Disconnected the power at the circuit breaker. Removed the six phillips head screws on the underside of the microwave base. Unplugged the drive motor. Removed two phillips head screws holding motor in place. Put all the screws aside keeping the motor screws separate so they would not get confused with the cover screws, they are slightly differenet sizes. To put the new motor in I needed to rotate the triangle plate drive inside the microwave main compartment until the motor could seat in place. Seccured the motor with the screws. Put base back in place and secured with screws. Turned power back on and tested turntable by turning on microwave.

Microwave wouldnt heat but power made loud hum
Had to take the MW off the wall, remove the cover, and find the magnetron. Issue was the HV-capacitor. Had to remove the diode and capacitor to discharge the capacitor safely. Crackle-Bang! Then put it back before toying with the HV-transformer in order to get the magnetron out. Took a little under two hours to get it back on the wall and a lot of cajones when monkeying around the chassis removing the capacitor. Not a job for most everyone as this was a potentially high-shock repair due to the voltage and micro-farads held in that capacitor. Hardest part was getting the magnetron to drop out past the HV-transformer. Also, the thermostat had to be removed from the magnetron and re attached to the new one. Fiddly delicate job, not for the clumsy or faint of heart.

Coupler was broken and turntable would not move.
Once we figued out that you had to remove the panel underneath the microwave, pull down the turntable motor part and then insert to coupler it went really fast. Through trial and error we figured it out, but should have checked for installation instructions on the internet. Repair time would have been less than 15 minutes.

Microwave interior lamp burned out
Unplug the microwave. Remove front grill and cover by removing 2 screws on top of microwave. You have to look down from the top. I could not locate the screws by feel. Once the two screws are out, remove the grill by sliding slightly to the left to lift out. Open the oven door to facilitate removal. Then remove the steel light cover (1 Phillips screw in the center of the unit) and unclip the bulb holder on the right. Do not touch the halogen bulb when you replace. Reseat the bulb holder and test by plugging in the unit with the door open. Unplug and replace the light cover and grill.
