JMV9186WS2 Jenn-Air Microwave - Instructions

Took the front off and behind a plate was the fuse, so I replaced it for what good that did!!!

Unplug microwave. Remove turntable and support from inside. Remove outside bottom cover (10 screws). Remove 2 torx screws holding motor in place. Remove 2 wires from motor, noting colors. Took the replacement plate out of the box and put it in the microwave in seconds. I never realized how much of a difference having the correct microwave plate would make. It's great to have it back.

Time to replace the charcoal filter

I didn't do the repair -- my husband did, said it was easy, had no problems what so ever! The new bulbs give a lot more light to the cooking area.

I just opened the box and set it in. Took all of two minutes.

Removed the glass cover and replaced the bulb. Very simple.

I had no problem installing the new filter. Just used a phillips screw driver to remove the two screws holding the vent cover in place. Cleaned the dust out of the ducts and reinstalled the new filter. The screws must be held to the screw driver with your finger tips so you don't drop them in the vent cover.
