Remove the range door. Look on YouTube. Remove 4 screws holding on the fan cover at the rear wall of the range. (This was a slide in range and I could not get to the back without a lot of extra work.) Remove the 3 screws holding the fan in place. Be care and handle the fan gently. Remove the fan by moving outward slightly. Be very

careful of the electrical connections on the back of the fan. There are 4. Tilt the assembly out from the top a couple of inches. Slide off the two wires to the heating element, lower the assembly down while keeping the bottom close to the range back wall. Slide off the two connection fan wires on the bottom. Be careful and do not over stress this plastic harness wire connection, it will break. Remove fan. Put the new one on. First slide on the harness connection at the bottom while holding the bottom of the fan close to the range back wall. Rotate up and hook the two element wires. Put the screws back in for the fan and cover. This is very sensitive work. Take you time.

The old part, including lightbulb and socket, had corroded into place, and the glass light cover was stuck to the socket. I used a dead blow hammer and a dowel just under the diameter of the hole to tap on the back side of the socket to loosen it and get it out. The metal tabs on the old socket were folded back to make it fit better (?),

which made it harder to remove. Lots of muscling of the part to get it out. Easy to install new part once old one was out of the way. An experienced person would have removed the old part and installed the new in no time.

I have tried to call, but NO-ONE answers the phone. I have sent emails, but all I get is an automated response telling me to go to the web site. Partselect is the worst company I have ever dealt with, I need to return about $100 in parts and I cannot get an automated return form or someone on the phone. I will NEVER do business with

Very Simple, I recommend pulling the old gasket in sections, and popping the new gasket metal holders in the holes as you go. You can't mess it up. For the ends, I tucked them in using a pair of needle nose pliers, but any small slender tool, such as a thin screwdriver, will work.
