My father called and asked me if I knew where he could get a new switch light for his refrigerator. I came across your web site and found the part right away. In less than 3 days the part came and my father put it on. He said it was easy and that it was great to have the part come to him instead of having to search all over town. I just moved the moving parts from the Frame for the humidity level from old to new and all was OK

Clear freezer items in the area of repair as light assembly is in the back of the freezer. Suggest removing shelving in the same area to provide more working space. Utliize a small flashlight to provide interior lighting. Use a stubby phillips screwdriver to remove fastener securing the light cover.
Cover snaps out to remove light board assembly. Gently pull to disconnect the electrical connection to the light board. Then pull the light board assembly from the mounting posts securing the light board. Be careful not to snap either posts or the light board.
To install the new light board, I found it easier to connect the electrical source first, then push the light board onto the plastic posts to secure the light board. There are holes in the light board to insure a secure fit. Reinstall the light cover and reinstall the mounting screw. All done in less than 5 minutes!

Simply removing parts from the old frame and installing them on the new frame and putting everything back in the refrigerator to include the glass.

Pulled out broken drawer and inserted new drawer...just that simple!

Knew the switch was bad. Researched on the internet how to fix. Used a steak knife to pop the old one out, changed the contacts to the new switch and popped it back in. It took longer to open the box than it did to replace the switch. And the part arrived 2 days after I ordered it.

It was so darn easy! Took less then 10 minutes to fix. Self explanatory no instructions needed! Very cool!

Let me start by saying, I usually hire something like this out but figured I would give it a try. The install was fairly straight forward, however it would’ve been nice if the instructions would have been more useful. Instructing me to remove one screw to release the auger and solenoid enclosure wouldve been nice. There were 3 other screws that I didn’t need to remove and they were the ones holding the auger in place, which made assembling that much more difficult. Once to enclosure was removed, and the solenoid was exposed, it was a seemless process. I would however, recommend paying attention to or taking a picture of the connections on the solenoid. I was lucky to remember or got lucky. Regardless, I was able to complete the project successfully. If I had to do it again, I believe it can be done in 30 minutes or less.

I thought this was my problem as this part causes 90% of the no water issue. However, replacing this part did not fix my problem. I suggest that you test the valve first by disconnecting the water feed from the filter and running the line into a bucket. Once disconnected press the water on the freezer door and see if water comes out.
Other than that, this part is easy to install. Take off the plastic in front of the filter, remover the retaining screws. Remove lower cover in back of the refrigerator, Remove 1 screw securing the valve, remove cover where tubes enter the refrigerator. Take off tubes from valve (be sure to note what is inlet and outlet) and feed back into refrigerator. Be sure to save the putty when the new one is installed.

First I removed the ice tray rack lifting it out of the way to reach the back cover of the fan. Then, the whole back inside panel had to be removed. Two screws removed the fan and bracket from the freezer unit. The missing bumper lid just snapped into place. Replaced everything in reverse order. Pretty easy job.

Pull out old drawer and replace with new one.

I followed your video and completely dismantled the refrigerator evaporator motor, fan, brackets, and grommet, I completely cleaned the refrigerator including the cooling coils. I then ordered the evaporator motor ,fan, grommets, lid bumper, and brackets. The order would take a week to arrive. In the meantime I cleaned and reassembled all the old parts, waiting for the new ones to come. Guess what! The refrigerator was quiet as a mouse. I really did not need the new parts, but I kept them anyway just for good luck. Not bad for a refrigerator that's twenty four years old.
