I purchased one relay switch (there are three) took one out one by one and replced it with the new one and tested it each time until it worked. Super easy and saved me hundreds of dollars by doing this myself.

Really a no brainer, but I do have to say that PartSelect customer service is excellent. My part was located and on it's way within a day and arrived a couple of days later.

Instructions did not match the assembly of the ice maker.

I managed to move the auger far enough to allow me to insert the cup-drive and then realign the auger with the new cup-drive. I also have had one to break very shortly after installing it. This is my second part to replace and this one went really smooth, since I understood that the initial parts installation instructions did not apply on my ice maker.

Removed 2 screws holding old temperature sensor inside the oven and gently pulled out the wire till the connector came through the hole. Disconnected old probe and attached new one. Fished the wire back in the hole and replaced the two screws. Then followed the operating instructions for calibrating the oven. Ended up setting it +5 deg rees. So far, works great.

Easy fix for my microwave. The cover just slips out, no tools needed. The best part about this fix was dealing with PartSelect. I recieved my part in less than 3 days but it was damaged. PartSelect overnighted a repacement and I am back in business.

My wife reported that she saw flames coming up the inner wall of the microwave oven.
  • David from Portland, OR
  • Really Easy

I noticed that the scorched and slightly melted plastic was above a little piece of what looked like cardboard, so I did a Google search for "flames in microwave" or something similar and found a link to a DIY repair site that mentioned a tear in the waveguide cover causing that problem. I ordered a replacement from PartSelect, received i t in near-new condition, and replaced the old one with the new one in 5 seconds. I then called PartSelect to let them know that the new part had a couple of "wrinkles" in it that I was concerned might cause a problem down the line but that it seemed to be working OK for now. The nice person in customer service told me that I could use the part for the full year of the warranty and return it if a problem arose. I'm very satisfied with the experience!

Improper temperature when baking.

Moved the stove away from the wall, unhooked the electric cord and the gas pipe. In the oven, undid the two screws holding the probe. Removed two screws and removed the electrical cover panel from the stove back, disconnected the quick connect to the probe and pulled the probe from the oven. Reversding the proceedures, put the new probe into the oven, hooked up the quick connect and replaced the electrical panel cover. From the front, reinstalled the probe with the two screws, reconnected the gas and the power cord and put the stove back into position. It works just fine now!
