Dryer was making noise
Took the top and front end of the dryer off. Took the old slider spacers off and installed the new ones. I replaced all four of them even though only two was bad. While I had the dryer open I decided to use my shop vac to clean up the lint that had accumulated there. Replaced the front and the lid plugged it up, hit the start no noise just like new.

Dryer would not start.
First unplug dryer to prevent electrical shock. To remove the front of the dryer, open the door in top left and top right corners is a machine screw. They can be removed with a Phillips screw driver. Lift the top slightly and let front fall forward about 6 inches, lift slightly. Two wire will be connected to the switch in the door. remove the wires and squeeze the tabs on both sides of the switch and push it out. Push new switch in to replace old switch and reassemble.

broken dryer handle
My husband broke the door handle, but of course, i had to be the one to order the part & fix it. I ordered the part on the weekend and much to my suprise it was on my doorstep on Tuesday when I got home from work. Then I saw the part was shipped from nearby Louisville. I was overly happy with partselect!!!!! All I did was open the packaging and clip the dryer handle into the 4 holes. Easy as pie!!!!

DRYER WOULDN'T START
My dryer knob broke on the timer cycle switch so I ordered a new one along with a new dryer knob which didn't fix the problem, then I ordered the start switch and all I had to do was remove the back of the dryer where all the knobs are located and remove the start switch by turning the start switch to remove it, replace it with the new one by turning it till it clicks in just like when you removed it, put knob back on the front. However that didn't fix my dryer either so I ordered the thermal fuse and switched it out and that was what started the dryer back up. It is located on the back all the way to the bottom where the electrical cord is. Remove the cover and locate the fuse. Use a pair of pliers to pop it out and push the new one back in.

My girlfriend told me her dryer wouldn't shut off and she was concerned about a house fire.
Based on the few components in a dryer, I diagnosed the problem as a defective timer switch. Five screws remove the rear cover. The timer switch purchased was the identical part that was currently installed. In the old days, I would have drawn a picture to note the wiring connections. These days, we just take a picture on a cell phone. I removed the switch from the dryer and moved the wire connections one at a time over to the new switch. When all of the connections were in place, I installed the new switch. With cover still removed, we tested it and the dryer shut off as it should. Super easy repair. The only thing I would have done differently is I should have purchased a replacement knob and retainer - the original had cracks in the plastic that I didn't know about until re-assembly. Superglue took care of the knob, but I should have replaced it too. Disconnect the power cord first, take your time, and be careful with the sharp edges of sheet metal. I suffered an ugly cut on my finger but I'll survive. Super easy repair. She'll think you're a hero since she didn't have to call a repair man.
