Seal wouldn't seal on the freezer's right bottom. When you shut the refrigerator door with any force the freezer door would come open a tad.
Removed all 50 screws and replaced the seal. The door still comes open a tad but now it seals all the way. This was my first and last Maytag.

The ice maker enclosure was broken
This was the easiest project of the Holidays. Literally saw the part was broken, went on-line and ordered the part and in a few days it arived at my door. Removed a few screws, unplugged the electrical connector and transfered the motor to the new part.

Saved me a few hundred dollars the repairman would have charged!

Ice Delivery Door would not close or open
Removed the door assembly with 4 Torx screws, replaced the broken door with the new one. The assembly is spring closed, so had to be pivoted into place. Then the door didn't open when the ice button was pushed, but made a loud snapping noise. After removal again, it was determined that the solenoid was not attached properly to the arm. After this was done and the whole assembly was put back on the door, everything worked fine.

Watch out for the circuit board at the front of the assembly, it carries a pretty good bite!

Ice Maker would not shut off.
Removed the rubber gasket and checked the switch. The switch displayed signs of scorching and the plastic was very brittle. Removed the switch which was held in by a small bracket and one screw. Replaced switch on bracket and remounted the switch. It took longer to reinstall the rubber gasket that to diagnoise and repair the switch. This was a very easy repair and the time from the part order to receiving it was two days. I'm very pleased with the part availability and quick shipping.

Old plastic ring was damaged due to leaking icemaker causing door to open when ice dispensed.
No tool required! Pulled out tray, emptied ice into large bowl for reuse. Pushed in and pulled from inside the coil springed auger until could get old plastic ring off and put new one on. Useing care not to apply too much pressure to ice dispensing end so as not to break housing. Have to turn auger assembly at an angle to compress enough and get old ring off. Needs a little physical strenth & care not to force plastic housing to breaking point. Worked great reused saved ice. Took less than 10 minutes

lights wouldn't come on/work in refrigerator
Referencing the info/schematics you have on your website, I unscrewed/unattached top-front panel (carefully), from behind the panel you have to detach the wires (2) from the switch, pushed "in" the switch to remove, put in new switch and attach wires to test BEFORE remounting panel. Tada!! Thank you PartSelect! You saved me at least $80...would have been at least $100 to have a repair person come to the house!

Removed the inner door panel held on by 30 small nuts crews. Removed the old seal. Stretched new door seal onto inner door panel. Attached inner door panel and seal to inside of refrigerator door.
