Manufacture says every 6 months so that's what I do to keep from having a problem
popped out popped right in ran water thru to get out air in line and waalaa it was done

My dishwasher was leaking water
The repair went well. They actually had to replace the motor. This saved me a lot of money having it repaired in this manner. Very professional & pleasant.
