The ice maker and water stopped dispensing
I followed the instructions from your website that I found when ordering the part. It could not have been any easier if I had set in a class room environment. Thanks for all the help and saving me the cost of having someone do a 15 minute repair for 1 hour of labor cost. I would definitely use your site again in the future and I have already put a bug in a couple of my friends ears for if they have issues in the future!! Thanks again!

it is a very simple process. pull out the water filter. put in the new one after removing the plastic tops. slide the filter in place pushing to set it in place. run water through water spout on door of fridge for about 3 minutes or until all the air bubbles are out. and there you are ready for a drink of water.

Clogged Filter
Once the filter arrived, I pushed it in that releases a latch and removed the clogged filter. I then pushed in the new filter and when it clicked, I ran a few cups of water through it to clear any debris left from manufacturing and the job was finished. Less than 15 minutes.

unit was not cooling or freezing.
found the coil to be frozen like a block of ice. defrosted same, then looked up what defrost thermastat i needed and once it was received, i took the back of the freezer compartment off again, (two hex nuts, one on each end, and a small screwdriver to remove guard around fan. once this was removed, you then remove this panel, and you will see the evaperator coil, which will be frozen like a block of ice like i said. then remove defrost therm(small round piece with two wires connected to unit, disengage and re engage new thermostat. then put unit back!. no more freeze ups.also, therm was on top right of evaPERATOR. IT also snaps off on the bottom of thermastat. (just pull to or away from you and it should come off.
