FFTR2126LQ7 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

I remembered to unplug first. took the little cover off on the bottom, unscrewed the 3 screws. then just held the base that the fan is on and pulled rite off, pushed the other one rite on. it took me five min, i want to say thanks to parts select, had the part, fast shipping, great job, thank you.

I took the door bins out of the wrapping, snapped them into place, and thus had a usable refrigerator once again! Tenants had broken four of the shelves in the freezer and fridge, and with this simple part replacement, it is good as new! Thank you!

I receive the part the next day eventhough I paid for 3-5 day delivery. It took lest than 10 seconds to snap into place and now it looks like new.

took door off to see damage / what caused it . put door back on with temporary fix. /
looked up parts online / ordered parts online.
received parts very quickly. removed doors again, put on repair parts , tested - ok now.

I slid out the old drawer and slid in the new drawer. Easy as that! I would recommend this website to anyone.

Followed video instructions which were to unplug refrigerator, on lower back use screwdriver, loosen 4 screws, take off plastic cover, pull out fan, replace with new fan, replace cover and 4 holding screws, plug in refrigerator. I am female, 77 years old and if I can do it, anyone can.

Our refrigerator door shelf retainer had broken on the side which basically put one shelf out of commission in our fridge. I looked up our fridge on partselect and found the correct retainer and ordered it. The part came very quickly, within just a few days. First download schematic from frigidaire.com and watch a few youtube videos on fixing refrigerators .At first my guess was the timer was stuck on the defrost mode .However after studying the schematic I checked to see if the power was being sent to the compressor through the starter ptc .The 110 v was there after pulling off the connector .Also the condenser fan was on confirming this . however the compressor was stone cold .the compressor has 3 inputs whose resistances across all seemed good (see youtube videos) so it was probably the ptc starter or the 15microfarad capacitor .I changed the capacitor first -not the problem .then the ptc starter .immediatey the compressor started warming and after a few minutes cold air was being blown in .Very satisfying !

Easy peasey just slipped it in

I removed the back cover and removed the clip holding the compressor- run capacitor and start relay. I replaced these 2 components and clean the dust from the frig., and from the bottom of the floor. I replaced the back cover ; Loss about $300 worth of meat when when the frig. failed. Then I thought that, during these turbulent times, there are many which don't have a refrigerator or any meat to place in it, The refrigerator is "running" normal again.
