I had open back cover and remove the switch than replace new switch. Makesure cable conection.

With the draw glide, I simply had to slide it into position. To replace the clock, I had to remove the back panel and then replace the broken clock with the new one by simply turning a few screws and using a pair pliers to removing the color coded wires.

Got the shipment. Took it out of the package. Set it into the stove top. Tested to see if it worked, It did. Turned it off and took my dog for a walk.

The repair was really easy. All I did was unplug the surface element and plug in the new one.

New ones fit perfectly. Take a minute to bend the frame straight. Then and I used oversize screws on the replacement parts as the drop had stripped out the screw holes of the frame.

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

This was my first time ever working with electrical issues. My husband is not physically able to do repairs now. Very easy fix. After a brief discussion with CS about the electric stove part was shipped it arrived and I proceeded to install I found it needed to be installed sideways not up & down like the old one. The terminals did not line up so I put the black lead first and the purple lead last in doing that I burned out the switch??? was not easy to install as the video showed his switch matched each wire? My installation was sideways??

I changed the clock , it was very easy ! I changed wire for wire then put the clock in . Simple task but, make sure power if off. You can take a picture of wires with your phone, if you like .

Actually, a child of average intelligence can do this. Just pull the surface elements, take the old drip bowls, install the new ones and re-install the surface elements, including the brand new one I received.
