My dryer has no heat. It spins and works fine just no heat. Aside from the heat element what other parts may need to be replaced.?
For model number FEQ1442CES0
Hi Tristan,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer is not heating, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. Aside from the heating element, you will need to check the thermal limiter, the high limit thermostat, the control thermistor, the rear drum bearing, the drum belt, the blower housing with wheel, the terminal block kit, the felt seals, the drum glides and the heating element insulator. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Hi, this dryer is beeping constantly when drying. When it beeps the lights on the CoolDown, PressSaver, CleanLintFilter & Control lights blink in unison with the beep. I think it's telling me something is wrong, but don't know what it is. Any ideas?
For model number FEQ1442CES0
Hi Brendan, thank you for reaching out. First, please clean the lint filter of the dryer, part number PS417841, and check the door switch, part number PS2330880. If that does not help, we would recommend checking the thermistor, part number PS1149368, and the control board, part number PS1145657. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Dryer has a squeaking noise after a couple minutes of running. When empty, there seem to be 2 distinct frequencies. Loaded is much worse.
Rear Drum Bearing Kit?
Thanks
John

Hello John, thank you for the question. Use a level to see if your dryer has been installed properly on a flat surface. Place the level on top of the dryer from front to back and side to side. If your appliance is not leveled, you may need to adjust the dryer legs until the level reads that they are even. Your dryer maybe even, but the legs could still be causing the noise if they are loose. If this is not the issue, we recommend replacing the rear drum bearing kit, part number PS459829. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Hello, our dryer is beeping constantly. We are thinking it could be something with the control panel. A repair person said this part is not available. Thanks!

Unscrew two phillips scews on inside of front panel 5. Lift up and out the front panel. Two spring clips at bottom. 6. Rlease tension on drum belt at the motor. Access panel at rear of dryer. 7.Unscrew 3 screws from inside, center rear of drum. 8. Remove drum through the front of the dryer. You may have to spread the sides apart a little bit for it to fit 9. Lift up on the rear drum bearing to remove it from the bearing retainer. ( U shaped plastic socket) 10. unsrew 2 screws and remove the bearing retainer, ground ball. Ball retainer is on outside of dryer. 11. Vacuum everything--duct, blower, lint trap, ect. 12. Intall new bearing retainer and grounding ball, an assistant is helpful at this time, one to hold ball retainer on rear of dryer, one to screw it in from the inside 13. reassemble remainder of parts in reverse order.
Unplugged Dryer. Opened top of Dryer, over the drum. Removed Thermal Limiter. Tested the Thermal Limiter - found it was open. Checked all vents and exhaust tube for lint build-up. Replaced Thermal Limiter. Closed top of dryer. Plugged Dryer back. Tested Dryer - it works.
