Armature And Brgs
Part #N398320
This genuine Dewalt armature and bearings assembly is a high quality item specially designed for electric polishers. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. Armature is the center piece of an electric motor. If you notice smoke or sparks coming from the vents on the back of your tool, you've probably overloaded your armature at some point. To extend life of the motor, it is advised to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. This assembly includes (1) armature, (1) plastic fan and (2) armature bearings. You will need a screwdriver to complete this repair.

Sander Carbon Brush Set
Part #N398321
Keep your power tools running smoothly with this Genuine DEWALT Replacement Brush Set (Pack of 2). Designed specifically for DEWALT motors, these carbon brushes are essential maintenance components that help restore performance and extend the life of your tools. Over time, motor brushes naturally wear down due to friction, which can lead to reduced power, intermittent operation, and diminished electric braking. Replacing worn brushes is a simple yet effective way to fix these issues and get your motor back to peak performance. Each brush is crafted to meet DEWALT’s high standards and should be installed with care. When replacing, it’s also recommended to inspect the armature for signs of damage such as burns or cracks, which could indicate deeper motor problems. Whether you're a professional or a DIY enthusiast, this brush set is a smart investment in tool reliability.
