drive belt gone, replaced belt and bearing

Took the old filter out and inserted the new filter which was a near perfect fit on a 36 year old dryed that is still kicking! Delivery of the part was less than 24 hours after ordering over the phone. Thanks1

Pulled the old filter out of the door of the dryer and then removed the new filter from the shipping box and took the new Lint filter out of the packaging and then slipped the new lint filter into the lint filter holder and started up the dryer and away we went on our happy way. Thanks to all of you guys and gals at PARTS SELECT.

I just replaced the old filter with the new filter and I wonder why I didn't order a replacement filter sooner.

This wan't a repair. It was simply a part replacement for a part that was easily accessable. I was more pleased at the fact that I could find the part considering how old the dryer is.

Finding parts for very old appliances (that otherwise are working great!) was very much appreciated...lint filters are very very important and this one has served it's useful life. Thank you for such an amazing parts inventory, good prices, and FAST delivery!

Easy as steps 1 & 2, remove old filter & replace w/ new.
It fit perfectly which was my main concern, as I could not tell from picture if the length was correct.
I am very pleased w/ product & it works just fine..

Removed the top, four screws under the front inside the open door. Then the removed the front, two screws inside at top by drum and two screws on bottom. Then pulled out the drum, from there I was able to get to the bearing that was bad. Mine was a older model than the instructions showed that came with my repair parts but it was colse en ... I opened the top,by removing the two screws inside the door
on the top. then removed the frount by removing the two 5/16 sheet metal screws inside facing the frount. then pulled the drum out and replaced the berring. Cleaned out the lent from the motor and duckings. Then reasembled.

The front panel must be removed on this unit after turning off power supply. First open dryer door and.remove the 2 screws facing upwards. Disconnect the light if applicable, using a putty knife insert under top to free the top from front cover this is to push on the retaining tabs that are inboard of the screw areas that you have removed ... Read more . Raise top panel. It is hinged at settings panel. This is completely removable by sliding to the side Then locate the 2 small screws located in the side panels near the top. Once these are removed the front cover will be able to be removed carefully moving forward while supporting the drum you know can see the parts that need replacing on the lower right. Take a picture as reference!! With power off remove the retaining clip that holds the dryer solenoids in place using a short stubby screwdriver. One at a time replace solenoid by lifting and disconnecting the wires (they snap on.) Good time to also check for excess lint and clean out. Check drum bearing and glides..reassemble in reverse order ..

Removed Front of Machine, removed access panel on back of machine, reassembled after installing belt and cleaning out machine. Pretty Easy, hardest part is getting around the front of the drum.This machine has been going since 1978. 31 years, 2nd replacement belt and thats all, not bad, the washer that was bought at the same time went aro ... Watched a video online on how to replace the belt, it pretty much told me what to look for to get the drum out. Followed the instructions sent with the bearing kit and removed the old bearing assembly. Ran the screws supplied with the kit into the bearing assembly before I installed it. This was a tip I got off PartsSelect website. Runnin ... Read more g the screws in first is a must! Had my wife hold the assembly in place while I ran the screws in. That part of the job is the only time you need an extra set of hands. Put the dryer back together and it works like a quiet champ now.
