Broken door latch and springs were not connected.
Looked up the replacement part on YouTube, watched a video and followed the instructions. Part ordered was the correct part and the video showed how to access for replacing. Watched a different video for hooking up the disconnected springs that allow the door to lower and close smoothly. Whole process for repairs was less than 30 minutes.

Door would pop open after starting dishwasher numerous times before latching would catch.
Removed two latch screws and one electrical connection, Removed
two screws that hold D/W to countertop, pulled D/W out enough to remove the old latch, install new latch, push D/W back into place, rescrew to counter top and rescrew the two latch screws. This problem happened since new, had repairmen twice and they did nothing but move the dishwasher stating it needed alignment, never mentioned this easy repair....

Top Door Panel had become unresponsive to load size and conditions for wash
Reviewed Control Panel replacement on line; found the OEM replacement parts on Part Select, began repair, found sea page of water, steam under door front causing slight corrosion on material of door; this allow moisture to seep through the plastic enclosure of the control board, causing it to malfunction; replaced components, due to "general" control board; Jumpers which did not exist on the original board, had to be configured; Parts Select fairly accurate, but when configured to diagram of repair document, "use Autosense" 570 jumper configuration; pin 1,4,8 jmpr'd; pin 2 Open; Control board did not work as required; no display, user could not select load size; luckily during the 2nd removal of the door, found manufacturer original paper work on the 580 model; to manufacturer recommended, Pin 1 Open, pin 2,4,8 jmpr'd; this configuration had the panel working as original; I also placed a light bead of clear silicon on metal panel as to assist in water transfer

Dishwasher Not Draining
The pump went out after a few months of very loud noise during the drain cycle and then one day no drain or noise. A bit of research shows that this pump goes out frequently on this model so I ordered a new pump after inspecting the old pump for a clog or snag on the rotors.

The Install:
After removing the dishwasher from it's installed location and turning it on it's side (unplug water and electric of course), I was able to remove the pump from the two lines that connected it to the dishwasher and the drain line. I also had to unplug the pump from an electric connection to the dishwasher. Swapping out the new pump was the same but in reverse. Not a hard install, only simple tools required.

One note, my electric connection to the dish washer was different on this model pump since they changed the original part but there is an adapter included with this part so make sure it is in the box and fits before beginning.

Not fault of Parts Select - WARNING you cannot fix dishwasher with this part.
This is NOT a complaint about Parts Select (GE however has some packaging issues to resolve). It may become a complaint of Parts Select if not resolved to my full refund.

Unable to repair with provided part.

I have performed this repair in the past easily and successfully with part from GE Parts. GE Part Number: WD18X10052

GE Parts currently lists part number above as discontinued with a new GE Part
Number: WD35X10386. However not in stock

Found new part number locally however was missing the hose and plastic molded tubing that connects to pump and provides the actual diverter mechanism. Obviously did not purchase.

Ordered from Parts Select on 2021-12-22 and inquired if their part was complete. I was assured it was and paid for overnight shipping at approximate cost of $30.

Part arrives on Christmas Eve, a day late and incomplete. Called Part Select and was assured I would be reimbursed for full cost of part and shipping and was provided with shipping label to return incomplete part at their cost once their stock personnel verifies my claims.

I have photos of original/damaged but complete part beside new in package incomplete part for record and your use if you request.

Drain pump quit draining
My granddaughter's fian'ce actially replaced the pump.
He pulled the dishwasher out, tipped it over and quickly and easily replaced the pump.
I had already snapped the converter on to the pump so it was ready to hook up. I had read previous messages that this part had a converter.
After putting the washer back in place we set it on a light wash to test it.
It went very well.
