CYE3005AYW Magic Chef Dryer - Parts

This dryer drum belt from Amana has five ridges and is 93-3/8" inches in length, and 3/8 of an inch wide. It is flat, black in color, and is made entirely of rubber.

This single drum support roller is used for square ported model clothes dryers. It has a metallic bearing in its center.

This drum glide is sold individually. It is best to replace both drum glides at once.

This kit comes in two pieces: the catch and the clip.

The spring for this part is sold separately. This idler assembly is for dryers. Idler assembly includes the idler arm and the idler pulley that maintains tension on the drive belt, allowing the belt to turn. Disconnect the power before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Note: This part no longer comes with the felt seal. This filter collects lint as it passes through the dryer vent.

Meant as a backup to a high limit thermostat, this fuse is typically set to trip at a higher temperature than that of a high limit thermostat. This is a one-time use fuse, so when it does trip, you do need to replace it. It's letting you know that something is wrong with your dryer.

This part replaces older two terminal switches.

If your dryer’s taking longer to dry clothes or making strange noises, this felt seal might be the issue. It sits between the drum and the back panel, keeping hot air inside and helping the drum spin smoothly. Replacing it can fix problems like clothes getting caught or not drying properly. Just remove the old seal, clean the area, and stick the new one in place to get your dryer working like it should.
