remove the 'pop-out " frame around the door recess, you pry the flexable seal from around the ice despenser, have someone hold the unit with the wiring, remove the one screw that holds the door recess, and replace the new one. reverse the procedure. remember to unplug thr frig. first

install icemaker water was allways delivered to previous unit water is not being delivered to icemaker still having difficulty

really simple,take 2 nuts loose pull the hose out and then replace.took less than 30 minutes

Followed the video demo and would have been done sooner but for limited work space- narrow freezer compartment and the release tabs on the electrical plug. First home repair that the air was not blue and got done in under time allocated.

Took the paper clip, pressed in through the holes on the bottom of the ice dispenser panel. Removed the four screws. Loosened the panel and removed the wires. replaced the flapper door. Then reversed the process. Your video was VERY helpful except for the paper clip. Had to get that off another web site.

Repair went exactly like the video. With this video it was easy to make the repair. There were no surprises or problems and I felt confident in the videos instructions. It was like pushing the easy button.

After what I thought was a thorough troubleshooting of said problem I replaced the Water Valve Assy which was really easy as the video shared, but it did not fix my problem. Still no ice though. Ice maker vs mother board at the rear of the fridge, Hmmmm. Went with the ice maker, watched video, ole Steve makes the plugs disconnecting look easy, I had to use a flat head screwdriver to open the clips (he doesn't mention that) and I had 4 screws where he had 3. Also he didn't mention about the instructions which gives you 3 options with your unit. I had to re-use my Plastic Stripper Plate along with the Fill Cup and Ice Maker Insert. After completion of installation and about a half hour later, I heard ice fall, Wooohoooo!!! Overall the experience will make me think to utilize PartSelect again when needed. Reasonable prices and decent shipping time. Now the freezer light is out...

Removed control panel by inserting small screwdriver in the 3 holes underneath to loosen. Remove 4 screws holding circuit board . Unplugged 3 connectors. Removing circuit board gave access to flapper. Removed flapper by unclipping. Installed new flapper and reversed disassembly procedure. This was 2nd time in 2 years I had to replac ... Removed frame, unscrewed the electrical panel, and popped the flapper off. Installed new flapper. Replaced the electrical panel and re-installed the frame.

took 1 screw out and removed ice maker and slid new one in and replace screw and connected power cord

Took out one hex screw, disconnect electric couplings, pulled original ice maker out and found that the water supply line to the ice maker was frozen solid as well as the shute cup. Used hair dryer to thaw out the line and the cup reinstaled old ice maker and it worked fine. Did not have to use the new part at all at this time. Am keeping ... Read more new part for future use.

Snapped off the plastic plate covering the dispenser. Removed the four screws holding the mechanism in place. Remove the electrical connections. Pull the mechanism out and up carefully pulling the dispenser pad out with all the mechanism in place. Look at the mechanism before removing any parts to get a mental image so that reassembly ... Read more will be easy. Remove any electrical switch or circuit boards and remove old parts before submerging the mechanism in hot soapy water for clean-up. The Clean-up will take longer than the disassemble and reassembling. After completion the dispenser works as it should.

I spent 15 - 20 minutes just hunting/deciding which of several sets of parts & directions to follow. The provided directions were not bad; but none of them quite matched my GE ADORA side-by-side model. Once I came up with the actions I would need to take...I was done in 5 minutes! Seemed simple and intuitive B U T the water tube receiver fooled me. Seemed to be on backwards. So, like my wife suggested, I D I D then read the installation instructions. Yeah! It's amazing what you can do when you just RTI. :-0

Removed old ice maker, then screwed in new ice maker. Only thing that was a little difficult was to hold the auger motor, while trying to unplug the clipped in plug on the old ice maker. I could have used an extra pair of hands.
