1960's oven door gasket fell apart, actual gasket not available any more
Chose rubber flexible gasket with metal tabs. cut to size. unscrewed metal bracket on inside oven edge on 3 sides, slipped metal tabs between oven and metal and screwed back in. Done! Not a perfect fit but pretty good - better than no gasket.

Burner gas supply connect tubing is cut
First remove the burner head by turning counter clockwise to unlock. Use pier to remove the wires from the igniter and burner. Once both burners heads are removed from 1 side, use screwdriver to remove both screws that is holding the burner orifice fitting assembly. You want to repeat the process for the other side. Once both sides are done, you can lift the range cover to gain access to the broken burner orifice fitting assembly. Use adjustable wrench to unscrew the two nuts that are holding the assembly in. Remove assembly and replace with new. Reverse the disassembly process then you are done.

Broiler wouldn't turn on(ignite)
Ordered the broiler igniter that matched my model from part select and installed. Easy and part works as it should. Only took a few days to get here and saved me $40 by not purchasing at a local parts store as well. Will use part select if there are any future needs.

Missing gasket under burner caused gas to leak out
I followed the video and it was incredibly easy. I shut the breaker off (we live in an apartment, and pulling the plug on the stove wasn't possible). I lifter out the old burner (the gasket underneath was corroded, and I just threw it out, as the newer burners are self-sealing); removed both the igniter wire and the ground wire (I needed a pliers to tug the igniter wire off); attached the new burner; replaced the burner; turned on the power; and voila!

Oven wouldn't light.
It's happened before and the igniter has always been the problem. This time, however, the mounting holes were slightly off and had to be drilled out. The connector didn't mate up and so both had to be cut off, the wire stripped back and wire nuts used to make the connection. In the end, it all worked out. I guess since its kind of old, you can't stock every component for every oven. Oven works perfectly now.

BURNER DID NOT IGNITE. HOLE ON SIDE OF BURNER HAD A HOLE, SO FLAME WAS UNEVEN.
USED CHANNELOCK PLIERS TO ROTATE BURNER COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. PULLED OFF THE CONNECTORS, APPLIED RUST TREATMENT TO THE REPLACEMENT PART, WHICH HAD ITSELF STARTED TO CORRODE. SPADE LUGS ON THE OLD PART HAD A SPADE ADAPTER, BUT THE CONNECTION SEEMED TO WORK REGARDLESS OF THE MISS-MATCH. PART WAS REPLACED, TURNING THE BURNER CLOCK-WISE. VERY QUICK AND EASY REPAIR.
