This is the tray the glass cooking tray rest on and rotates the glass during cooking. The metal tray was installed upside down. The rotating glass tray was not properly installed. The oven was at a very high temp. and the weight of the utensil on the glass was not supported correctly. Result, big " pop " and broken glass tray. Note this ... Read more is the second glass repaced. The first one dropped while removing it from the oven. It stuck to the bottom of the cooking dish and then fell to the floor. Pop, big breakage. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes.

Placed the new tray in the microwave.

Just like the directions said. Very simple.

Took item from sealed box and removed protective bubble wrap. Placed tray in microwave, aligning tray with turntable sprockets. Perfect fit, perfect match! And the part arrived in three days and was very competitively priced. What more is there to stay? Will use PartSelect for other replacement parts. No brainer!

I went on line, put in microwave repair and watched a video on repair. I then took the oven down from over the range and took it apart. I could see were the magnetron had burned out. PartSelect had helpful repair instructions on-line which made the repair easier and faster. Unfortunately, there were other problems with the oven that immediately blew the new fuse I had just installed. It was then determined that additional repair would most likely cost almost as much as a new microwave.

I pulled out the unit and found 2 interlock switches that are depressed when the door closes. After cycling the door open/closed I found that one of the switches occasionally would stay depressed. Took off cover , unpluged switches , took off switch assy, off/on test hooped and howlered for about 5 mins .Then laughed about other sites said could get those switches. Just wanted to say I LOVE Partselect. Super fast del , great price. JUST AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a built-in cabinet,We disconnected it about 24 hours before,then a friend helped us remove the microwave and trimming from the wall, there we saw the torx screws, we were able to find the screwdriver in local tools store. Removed cover, diagnosed problem, ordered part from Parts Select, received part in 2 days, replaced part, tested and replaced oven into built in space.

Removed microwave cover using screwdriver and anti tamper bit available at local hardware store. Megnetron had broken magnet making discovery of deffective part easy.
