Vent grille broken where it attached to unit
  • Mark D. from Dansville, NY

The filter was just a maintenance issue. The vent grille, as described on the website already, is poorly constructed; the plastic where the screws attach to hold it on break easily. I ended up using something similar to the plastic of a credit card to make a repair to the side that had broken. I ended up not installing the new grille, I t hought I would see how the repair I made held up first. I kept the grille as a spare when the old one finally breaks. CAUTION: When you clean the grille, take it off first! The two spots where it attaches are cheaply made and will break easily. Take out the two screws, clean the grille, and then put it back into place. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS! Tighten them just enough to hold it in place.

I unscrewed the filter cover, replaced the charcoal filter and replace the cover. The other wire mesh filter slides right into place. You sent me the right parts for my filter replacement on my microwave. Easy install. Thanks

burnt out light bulb
  • Shirley from Londonderry, NH
  • A Bit Difficult
  • Less than 15 mins

The problem I have with changing the bulb is my microwave is an overhead one and therefore I cannot tip it on its side to easily replace the bulb. I have to drop the lid down and carefully install the new bulb from underneath.

I didn't do the repair -- my husband did, said it was easy, had no problems what so ever! The new bulbs give a lot more light to the cooking area.

Burned out lightbulb

First let me say that I tried several places to get what I thought was a simple light bulb. This included several national hardware stores as well as a national electrical supply company. No luck. Went to the manual and PartSelect. Not only did you have it in stock, ship right away,at a reasonable price it arrived in a matter of days. One would not normally think of receiving a "how to" video to change a light bulb but you did. That impressed me. Suffice to say the replacement went well and you can be certain the next time I need a part I will go to you first. I am also impressed with the organizations with which you are affiliated with. BBB, Norton, PayPal, money back guarantee etc. Thank You The entire process was made pleasant with your support.

vent grill had manufacturing flaw
  • Steve from Lincoln, NE
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 15 - 30 mins
A plastic tab, 1 of 3, on the plastic replacement vent grill had to be hand filed to make it fit in the slot on the microwave. The other 2 were fine. It is an obvious quality control issue from the manufacturer's injection mold or inspection process that allowed the extra plastic to remain on the tab.
