AFB2234WES10 Amana Refrigerator - Instructions

Turned off power, Removed screw, disconnected wire harness and removed old rail from door, Connected new wire harness and attached new rail to door, replaced screw. Restored power. Done.

Replacement gasket extremely easy to install. Used hair dryer to soften and straighten out “kinks” in replacement gasket. Pulled old gasket out of groove in refrigerator door. Lined up corners of new gasket and pressed into place with my fingers. Went in exactly as video showed.

Talking with the service tech and youtube video it was a snap... Saved a service repair and a 25% parts mark up..

Watched the video on this site, followed the instructions to lay the gasket flat and warm it with a hair dryer, removed the old gasket, and popped the new one in. Easy!

To repair the problem,I ordered a new gasket. Once I received the gasket, I laid it flat on the floors and hot the blow dryer and blow out the creases in the gasket. I then took off the door by removing the four screws from the door and rest the door on the table. I then removed the old gasket and replaced it with the new one. It took a ... The parts were very easy to replace, however I am still without ice and cannot figure out why. I have ohm tested the contol unit and everything works fine, I am able to jump it and turn on the motor and water fill valve. Any suggestions?...

I first removed the icemaker pump and filler tube fron the back of the refrigerator by using an adjustable wrench and pliers. (very simple connection) I went ahead and replaced both items at that time.

Next I opened the bottom freezer and removed the top wire tray and ice container. I removed the bottom nut from the ice maker ... Read more , pulled the electrical plug lose from the freezer connection. I then just lifted the ice maker upward and off the two screws on the side wall and out it came!

I had a little trouble with the filler tube as it came into the freezer. I had to go back and forth to the back of the refrigerator and freezer a couple of times adjusting the tube, so it woiuld clear the inside freezer wall.

This was a very minor problem. I feel like if I had followed the instructions and made sure the tube came through before attaching the icemaker it would have worked like a charm!

What I really liked, was everything was in the box for the job.

Remove the grate at the back of the refrigerator. Remove the existing drawn tube. Replace the exiting drain tube with the updated drain tube. Check to see if water was draining properly. Replace the grate. Sit back and have a beer.

I made a temporary repair by drilling the old blade plastic hub and put a small screw in it to hold it on to the shaft until the new blade arrived. The new blade came in within the two days I needed before Thanksgiving. I removed the old and pushed on the new. There were 8 screws on the back guard and two to hold the motor on. It was a ... Snapped on the new toe grille.

Take everything off the top self, lift the self install the new part ,put self back in place and then install the drawers again. Took minutes.

knelt down, positioned replacement kickplate; popped into place, stood up!

took longer to open the box and peel bubble wrap off item than to replace it!

i just took the prts apart and replaced with new part really easy and saved $185.00 easy as pie

remove parts that were not need installed water valve , ice maker unit and hooked up water supply tested and it works fine. got the parts really quick Thank You
